The story behind my Ahsoka obsession

Hello my dearest watchers!  

I feel like I finally have to share why I like Ahsoka Tano this much. So if you are interested keep reading   

Years ago my little sister and cousins were obsessed with Star Wars the clone wars (back then season 1 was running on TV). They were like always watching it, however I didn't really care for it. I was a Star Wars fan, nevertheless that stuff didn't really interest me. But one saturday night my sister came to my room begging me to allow her to watch Clone Wars on my TV set in my room. I couldn't say no so I let her watch it. I was drawing next to it but time to time peeked onto the TV. It didn't take me a long time to notice that snippy orange skinned girl which drew my interest fast. I was like "hey who's that Egyptian looking girl?" My little sister started laughing at me and immediately answered "Thats Ahsoka Tano, she is the Padawan of Anakin. She is my favorite character!" After that I constantly kept looking at the TV set. I started to really enjoy watching Clone Wars. So from that time on I was always watching CW with my little sister. However after the second season my sister stopped watching it and lost her interest for it. But that didn't stop me from watching it. I more and more loved it and couldn't get enough of CW. 
Around the time when season 3 came out, I experienced a horrible time. I didn't have any friends, my parents didn't care for me, I sucked at school, etc. I was alone most of the time, I locked myself up in my room. Almost every night I cried myself to sleep. I didn't see any sense in life.. But CW was the highlight of every single day. By then I have bought all the DVDs and everyday watched some episodes. I had nothing but Clone Wars, well Ahsoka Tano. She even became a role model to me. I always tried to dress like her, act like her. Basically I was living in my own little world as I imagined to live in the Star Wars universe. 

Season 3 was over and I found out that in the US the 4th season is already out. I wanted to check the episodes but I didn't understand anything as I wasn't good at english. So I started paying more attention during my english lessons, I watched all my CW DVDs in english with subtitles. I made a notebook where I wrote down all the vocabulary I learned. During the nights I studied these words. I practiced hard. After one year I started to get the hang of it, even my grades in english became better. Ever since, I watching every episode in english. By now I couldn't take the synchronized version anymore. 

My drawing skills weren't the best in former times either. But I needed to express all my love for Ahsoka so I started practicing drawing her. I improved in this field too. Until today I still work hard on improving drawing Ahsoka Tano. 

I can even say that because of Ahsoka Tano I met my boyfriend almost 3 years ago. I've met my boyfriend through DeviantArt and we only started talking because he favorited some of my Ahsoka art and yea CW was our first topic to talk about. That was quite an exciting time, and since he is living in a different country we can only talk in english. Thanks to Ahsoka I am capable of speaking english. I also work hard on improving my english. ^^ oh. If you are interested, in 4 months I will move out and live together with my boyfriend. 

Ahsoka basically helped me through all the hard times of my life. She was there for me when I didn't feel well. Today I am happily in love, I have good friends and share my art, which is devoted to her on DeviantArt with you all. I have extremely strong ties to this character and I want to thank Dave Filoni and his team for producing such an amazing high quality TV show. I don't know where I would be now without it. I don't even want to imagine that.. 

Ahsoka isn't just a random character from a TV show I love to watch, she is so much more to me. 

By the way, I just watched the first episode of Star Wars Rebels season 2. Oh my goodness! Although Ahsoka didn't appear too much in the episode, were the moments when she did EXCITING! Especially when she felt Vader and passed out.. This season promises awesome episodes.. I cannot wait for a confrontation between Ahsoka and Vader.. Did you guys see it? Did you enjoy it? And what do you think of this Journal entry, I hope it wasn't just boring. But I felt like I have to say this all.
